  • WHAT IS MIYO?

    The MiYO® Esthetic System gives technicians the ability to easily create esthetic restorations that rival natural teeth in an ultra-thin layer. MiYO currently works with all zirconia and lithium disilicate materials and is easy to integrate into any lab workflow as a/n:

    Replacement for Existing Stain and Glaze Process: simple and easy way to match shades and get the depth and translucency needed on monolithic or cutback crowns – all in one firing

    Correction Material : quick and easy way to change a shade, raise or lower the brightness of crowns (while adding translucency) or add contacts to reduce remakes

    Alternative to Costly Hand-layered Ceramics: efficient way to create highly characterized restorations that rival esthetics typically only seen with hand-layered restorations in unprecedented thicknesses of 0.1mm-0.2mm

     

    Create beautiful and detailed high-end esthetic effects for your zirconia and lithium disilicate monolithic restorations.

    FIRING SCHEDULE

    Pre-color Preparation:

    The surface should be clean and free from contaminants.

    Before Use:

    • IMPORTANT: Do not pour out liquid that may accumulate at top of the jar. 
    • MIX ALL MATERIALS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE EVERY DAY to maintain consistency and proper handling properties throughout the life of the jar. 
    • Do not bring InSync Glaze or MiYO Colors in contact with water! Contact with water will change the refractive index of liquid and will alter the appearance of colors while wet. 
    • Always use a clean brush. 
    • STRUCTURE MATERIAL ONLY: Use water to clean off your brush prior to and during application.

    Intended Use:

    A Type 1, class 1b ceramic for the coloring, enhancing, and glazing of the following restoration types: Zirconia and Lithium Disilicate.

    CTE:

    CTE (25-500°C) [*10-6 K-1] ± 1.0: MiYO Colors & Structure 7.4 (2x) CTE (25-500°C) [*10-6 K-1] ± 0.5: InSync Glaze 7.3 (1x)

    Storage:

    Store under dry conditions, +12°C to +38°C
